  11. The moral of the story for me is that marriage needs to be at the top of the priority list.  I heard it once like this – take care of yourself first (yea!  like that’s real easy or achievable when you are in the trenches with kids and jobs and husbands to tend to…), your marriage second, and your kids third.  Kids need a happy mom and dad, a supportive family unit, and parents who invest in each other.
  13. Why are we doing this? Here’s the story.  When I told friends about Loveawake, they had two thoughts – first: “I wish I had a group of friends like this who I could consult with.” Second, “since I don’t I’ll just ask you and you can ask the girls.”  So, this process began naturally, and way before the site went up.
  14. Disclaimer before we begin.  You need to know the following:  we are not experts at anything but being ourselves (and we are not so perfect at that either), so we are not answering these questions as professionals – just as women and concerned friends.  However, if we need a professional or don’t know the answer, I’ll find it from someone who does.
  15. So, with this first question, “What do I do if my husband can’t get it up,”  we consulted Randy Fagin.  Randy is a Urologist and The Director of Robotic Surgery at the Hospital at Westlake Medical Center.  He is also a Senior Medical Advisor for Intuitive Surgical and is on the Physician’s Advisory Board for Patton Surgical.  He’s been quoted in the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and EXTRA TV (really!) and I could go on and on but I won’t.  Let’s just say the women of Loveawake have officially dubbed him our expert in everything a guy cares about below his belt.
